SUMMARY
OF TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL HELD ON AUGUST 10, 2005, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND NUCLEAR MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC, CONCERNING COMMENTS TO THE POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2, DRAFT SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff (the staff) and representatives of Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC) held a telephone conference call on August 10, 2005, to discuss and clarify the applicants comments concerning the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, Draft Safety Evaluation Report (D-SER).
The conference call was useful in clarifying the intent of the applicants comments. The staff considered the bases for these comments and made changes to the D-SER as deemed appropriate. These changes will be reflected in the Final SER to be published in October 2005.
