On August 9, 2005, South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G) received the referenced request for additional information relating to our original response to a letter from J.E. Dyer, Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, dated February 25, 2005, NRC Staff Guidance for Use in Achieving Satisfactory Compliance with February 25, 2002, Order Section B.5.b, ('NRC B.5.b.
Guidance"). As requested in the reference letter, a telecon was held between the NRC and SCE&G on August 17, 2005 to discuss the questions contained in that submittal. As a result of that conversation, the NRC staff requested that SCE&G formally submit the responses to that request for additional information. The following attachment provides the SCE&G response to that request.
