Review of Allegation 2001-A-01 32 at Hope Creek by DRSIDRP
- Dave, Both Joe Furia and I reviewed PSEG's response to allegation 2001-A-0132 at Hope Creek regarding the alleged use of Bartlett deconners as Sr. HP technicians and found their response acceptable. The licensee was clearly hampered in their review by the fact that no specifics or details were provided in this matter. However, they did the best job they could with what they had to work with.
Joe says he has looked before at their process for determining and verifying the qualifications of contractor HP technicians and found it equivalent to that undertaken by other licensees.
Based upon this review and the lack of specifics provided, we believe that this allegation should be closed at this time.
I will draft you up a closeout letter later today. Please remove this issue from the APM list for Wednesday. Thanks!
