Dear Ms. Minor:
I am responding to your July 2005 letter to the Chairman which urged that the Chairman reject the NRC staffs Order Prohibiting Involvement in NRC-Licensed Activities issued to Mr. Andrew Siemaszko on April 21, 2005.
It would not be appropriate at this time for the NRC to comment on the specifics of this case since Mr. Siemaszko has requested a hearing on the Order which is currently pending before an NRC Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel (ASLBP). The decisions of the ASLBP can subsequently be appealed to the Commission.
