Response to Order Dated July 19, 2005; "Issuance of Order for Additional Security Measures on the Transportation of Radioactive Material Quantities of Concern" (EA-05-007)
As per the notification requirements on page 4 of above referenced Order, the University of Virginia Reactor Facility (UVAR) hereby notifies the USNRC that its compliance with the Order is unnecessary because the Reactor Facility is in the final stage (pending the USNRC review of the final paperwork) of being decommissioned and does not possess, or will ever possess, quantities of radionuclides which require action under this Order.
