Docket Number 50-186 University of Missouri - Columbia Research Reactor Amended Facility License R-103 Written communication as specified in 10 CFR 2.202 regarding the implementation of Nuclear Regulatory Commission Order (EA-05-007),
"Additional Security Measures on the Transportation of Radioactive Material Quantities of Concern" As specified in NRC Order EA-05-007, "Additional Security Measures on the Transportation of Radioactive Material Quantities of Concern (RAMQC)," dated July 19, 2005, the University of Missouri - Columbia Research Reactor (MURR) is notifying the NRC, as per Section III.B.1 (2) of the Order, that compliance with any of the requirements is unnecessary in our specific circumstances.
MURR does not currently transport RAMQC as delineated in Table A of Enclosure 1, Attachment B, to the Order. Further, we do not anticipate transportation of RAMQC.
We therefore elect not to implement the additional security measures because they are not applicable to our current or planned activities.
If conditions change that require us to ship RAMQC, the facility will inform the NRC ninety days in advance of the first such RAMQC shipment.
