TERMINATION OF REGULATORY RESPONSE GROUPS
Dear Mr. Marion:
By letter dated July 15, 2005, you informed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that the Nuclear Steam Supply System Owners Groups (NSSS OG) have terminated their respective Regulatory Response Groups. Therefore, you recommend that, in the future, NRC contact the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) directly to discuss potential near-term safety significant issues affecting the NSSS OG. You stated that the NEI direct contacts are:
Alex Marion (202-739-8080); am@nei.org Jim Riley (202-739-8137); jhr@nei.org The NRC acknowledges this recommended line of communication and will utilize it should the need arise.
