IST-2005-1 Tom and Bhalchandra, Below is our proposed response to the staff's request for additional schedule information for implementing the 2001 Edition, 2003 Addenda of the OM Code as we requested in our letter dated June 3, 2005.

Guy Duration of Proposed Request Entergy plans to begin phased implementation of the Appendix II condition monitoring program upon approval of this request. Specifically, IST check valves will be grouped in accordance with Appendix II grouping criteria. Once evaluations of the valve groupings are completed, test procedures will be developed, approved and implemented. Valve grouping activities are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2005 for ANO-1, GGNS, RBS, and Waterford 3, and by the end of 2007 for ANO-2.
This phased approach will allow sufficient time to establish the process and procedures, and evaluate valve groupings. A tentative schedule for completely implementing the condition monitoring program at each site is provided below.
ANO-1 All IST check valves will be incorporated into the program by December 2007.
ANO-2 Incorporation of all IST check valves will begin in July 2007 and be completed by December 2009.
GGNS IST check valves that are scheduled to be tested during the upcoming refueling outage (scheduled for the third quarter 2005) will be incorporated into the program prior to the outage. The remaining IST check valves will be incorporated by December 2007.
RBS All [ST check valves will be incorporated into the program by December 2007.
Waterford 3 All IST check valves will be incorporated into the program by December 2007.
