CGS May 2005 Re-Take Exam Outline Review Comments
- 1. There needs to be a backup scenario included for review and validation.
- 2. ES-D-1 did not indicate whether the scenarios were new, bank, or modified.
- 3. Should Event-1 of Scenario-1 and Scenario-2 be counted as a reactivity event?
- 4. Were there more KAs that were eliminated prior to random outline development than the several Systems & E/APEs identified on the ES401-1? Facility provided complete listing and justification of KAs eliminated prior to outline development; the Chief examiner reviewed and concurred with the eliminated KAs.
NOTE: Initially, the draft included a written exam for two SROI re-takes and the simulator portion of the operating exam for one RO re-take; subsequent to draft outline submittal, the utility decided not to put the RO up for the simulator re-take, so comments directed at the simulator portion of the outline are no longer relevant to this re-take exam.
