Arkansas Nuclear One - Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-313, 50-368, and 72-13 License Nos. DPR-51 and NPF-6

Dear Sir or Madam:

Entergy Operations requested an exemption from the requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(a)(2) and 10 CFR 72.214 in our letter dated May 23, 2005. Specifically, an exemption was requested to permit loading under Amendment No. 2 to the Holtec International (Holtec)

Certificate of Compliance (CoC) (72-1014) for the HI-STORM 100 System, which was in final rulemaking.

As noticed in the Federal Register on June 7, 2005, the NRC approved Amendment No. 2 to the Holtec CoC. Based on approval of Amendment No. 2, Entergy Operations hereby withdraws the above referenced request. There are no new commitments contained in this submittal.
