PBNP Cost of Pump trip on Low RWST level.
Stacey and Bob: The cost of installing a pump trip on low RWST level at Point Beach would approach Si M. Following are some details on the difficulty of such a modification.
PBNP would need to add a third channel of level instruments to provide for the required 2/3 logic existing cables would need to be re-run and separated to avoid certain fire-vulnerable areas a license amendment could be needed to add the new trip to SI and/or RH pumps - at a minimum, the 50.59 evaluation would be difficult due to the increase in risk.
