SUMMARY
ON THE REACTOR OVERSIGHT PROCESS OPEN FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON THE SCRAMS WITH LOSS OF NORMAL HEAT REMOVAL PERFORMANCE INDICATOR On June 14, 2005, a public meeting on the reactor oversight process (ROP) performance indicator (PI) frequently asked questions (FAQs) concerning Scrams with the Loss of Normal Heat Removal was held at the One White Flint North Building, Room 13B4. Attachments 1 and 2 contain the attendance list and agenda for the meeting. Attachment 3 contains the presentation slides used during the meeting.
The public meeting was a FAQ appeal meeting between the staff and Dominion Resources, the licensee for the Millstone Unit 2 Power Station, conducted in accordance with the guidance contained in Appendix E to NEI 99-02, Revision 3, Regulatory Assessment Performance Indicator Guideline. The staff and industry presented their positions on one open FAQ on the Scrams with Loss of Normal Heat Removal PI. No decisions regarding PI reportability were made during the meeting.
