SUMMARY
ON MEETING WITH LIMERICK AND INDUSTRY REPRESENTATIVES ON RISK MANAGEMENT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (RMTS) INITIATIVE 5b, SURVEILLANCE FREQUENCY PROGRAM On June 3, 2005, the Technical Specifications Section Staff met with Limerick and industry representatives at the One White Flint North Building, Room 0-14B10, 11555 Rockville Pike in Rockville, Maryland. A list of participants (Enclosure 1) is enclosed. This meeting was scheduled at the request of the licensee to discuss the status of Risk Management Technical Specifications (RMTS) Initiative 5b and clarify the requests for additional information (RAIs) that were submitted to Limerick on April 12, 2005, (ML051010252). The request for additional information (RAI) were graphed into categories by the Limerick staff for discussion purposes (Enclosure 2).
The staff members clarified the RAIs, and in some instances possible resolution to the RAIs were discussed. Limerick staff members stated, in part, that they would be providing responses to the RAIs individually, most likely on separate correspondences. No schedule for the responses or submittal of revised documents was established. Members of the staff reiterated that more RAIs may be submitted within the next few months.
