NEW INFORMATION POTENTIALLY RELEVANT AND MATERIAL TO LICENSING BOARD PROCEEDING IN THE MATTER OF YANKEE ATOMIC ELECTRIC COMPANY (YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION), ROWE, MASSACHUSETTS Pursuant to the Commission Policy on Notification to Licensing Boards or the Commission of new relevant and material information, the staff has determined that the following document is potentially relevant and material to the Yankee Atomic Electric Company proceeding and is forwarding it herewith as attachment to this memorandum: Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact Related to License Termination Plan (LTP) for the Yankee Atomic Electric Co., License DPR-003, Rowe, Massachusetts, as published in the Federal Register on Friday, June 3, 2005.
This document documents the staffs environmental assessment of the LTP and concluded that there are no significant environmental impacts and the proposed license amendment does not warrant the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement.
