Status Call with Vermont Yankee I had a call with Entergy this afternoon to discuss the status of Vermont Yankee licensing actions and we discussed the EPU at length. Thought I should pass on the following info:
- They are planning a steam dryer submittal tomorrow. It will provide the complete CFD report from Fluent (previous submittal just had a summary). They said they were doing this to be proactive since they thought it would help our review based on recent discussions with EMEB.
- Based on recent discussions with EMEB, they are checking with GE to see if GE's Washington DC office has the documents we need if we need to do a second audit of the steam dryer analysis. Based on my discussion with John Wu yesterday, I mentioned that EMEB was considering going June 15-17.
- Entergy wanted SRXB to be aware that if we thought a GE audit would be beneficial on the T/H codes/method review, perhaps that could be done at the same time EMEB does their audit.
- Entergy also said that they are in the latter stages of the core design for the next fuel cycle and they would appreciate us providing any SRXB RAls that may affect that design ASAP. Entergy said they are ready to have a conference call, with or without GE, anytime we want to help resolve any outstanding SRXB issues.
