MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - MEETING CATEGORY 1 - TVA NUCLEAR FACILITIES - DOCKET NOS. 50-327, AND 50-328
Dear Mr. Singer:
This letter confirms my telephone conversation with Mr. Jim Smith of your staff on May 11, 2005, concerning a management meeting, Public Meeting Category 1, for August 30, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. EDT. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss TVAs Sequoyah Operating Performance for Units 1 and 2 and is being conducted at your request. The location of the meeting will be at the Region II Office, Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street, S.W., Atlanta, Georgia, in Suite 24T20. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with "NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings," May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, Pages 36920-36924). The meeting notice which provides additional details is enclosed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
