I. INTRODUCTION Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station is composed of two Boiling Water Reactors and Steam Turbine/Generators located in Delta, Pennsylvania. Unit Two and Unit Three both have a Maximum Dependable Capacity of 1112 MWe Net. The Station is jointly owned by Exelon Nuclear and Public Service Electric and Gas. The Nuclear Steam Supply Systems are General Electric Company Boiling Water Reactors. The Architect/Engineer and Primary Construction Contractor was Bechtel Corporation. The Susquehanna River is the condenser cooling water source. The plant is subject to license numbers DPR-44 and DPR-56, issued October 25, 1973, and July 2, 1974, for Unit Two and Unit Three respectively, pursuant to Docket Numbers 50-277 and 50-278. The dates of initial Reactor criticality for Units Two and Three were September 16, 1973, and August 7, 1974, respectively. Commercial generation of power began on February 18, 1974, for Unit Two, and September 1, 1974, for Unit Three.
