JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 - PROJECT MANAGER REASSIGNMENT
Dear Mr. Gasser:
This letter is to inform you that as of May 29, 2005, Mr. Robert Martin will be assigned as the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions lead Project Manager (PM) for the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Farley). Mr. Christopher Gratton who is the lead PM for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Vogtle) and the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Hatch) will be assigned as the backup PM for Farley. Mr. Martin will also be assigned as backup PM for Vogtle and Hatch.
We envision these project managers as a team responsible for licensing actions and activities for Southern Nuclear Operating Company. Either PM may have the lead and signature authority for a particular licensing action depending on priorities and resource availabilities.
Please update your distribution to include Mr. Martin and Mr. Gratton to receive all licensing correspondence for Farley, Vogtle, and Hatch.
