Revised Security and Emergency Plans
Dear Sir:
The Security and Emergency Plans have been reviewed and revised to incorporate the changes made for Compensatory Measures and for the license renewal application submitted in March, 2005. The Security Plan changes were made without prior Commission approval since the changes not only do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan, but increase the security of the facility. The Plan was prepared in accordance with Appendix C of Part 73 and the changes are authorized per 50.54(p)(2). The changes are listed in Attachment 1.
The Emergency Plan revisions were mainly editorial and were not considered reportable changes. The revisions were made without prior Commission approval per 50.54(q) since the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the plan and continue to meet the requirements of Appendix E. The changes are listed in Attachment 2 for your information.
We request that the Security and Emergency plans be considered Safeguards Information per I OCFR2.390(a)(3). The disclosure of the Security and Emergency plans would endanger our facility and personnel and the general public.
