MAINTENANCE OF REFERENCE MATERIAL AT THE SOUTH HAVEN MEMORIAL LIBRARY AT THE PALISADES NUCLEAR PLANT, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION
Dear Ms. Bemis:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff appreciates the support of the South Haven Memorial Library in assisting the public with participation in the NRC license renewal process for the Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP). As discussed, your support would consist of providing approximately three feet of shelf space in your reference section which would be used for making documents related to the NRC staffs environmental and safety review of the PNP license renewal application available to the public.
We will place the South Haven Memorial Library on our distribution list for documents and notices related to the application for license renewal at PNP. Attached is the environmental and safety license renewal application, Generic Aging Lessons Learned (GALL) Report, Volume 1 and 2, Standard Review Plan for Review of License Renewal Applications for Nuclear Power Plants (NUREG-1800), and public information brochures.
