The attached monthly operating report data has also been entered into the INPO Consolidated Database for the month of March 2005 for Units 1 and 2.

SUMMARY

Unit 2 began the month of March 2005 at 0% of rated thermal power (RTP).

On March 17th at 07:24 hours, reactor criticality was achieved.

On March 18th at 05:27 hours, the main generator was synchronized to the grid at 23.1% RTP. At 09:37 hours, the main generator was tripped at 20.4% RTP for voltage and overspeed testing. At 12:26 hours, the main generator was resynchronized to the grid at 23.9% RTP.

On March 20th at 09:50 hours, reactor power was reduced from 60.7% to 19.3% RTP due to high temperature and vibration on the #3 turbine bearing. At 11:30 hours, the main turbine was manually tripped at 19.6% RTP.

On March 21st at 03:16 hours, the reactor was manually scrammed at 21.3% RTP for repairs to the turbine bearing and SRV maintenance.

On March 25th at 03:37 hours, reactor criticality was achieved.

On March 26th at 14:59 hours, the main generator was synchronized to the grid at 19.1% RTP.

On March 28th at 08:20 hours, the reactor was restored to 100% RTP. At 22:02 hours, reactor power was reduced from 97.7% to 60.1% RTP for rod pattern adjustment.

On March 29th at 19:37 hours, reactor power was restored to 99.8% RTP.

Unit 2 ended the month of March 2005 at 100% RTP.
