I didn't get a chance to provide some information today as part of our status teleconference. On December 21, 2004 Jim Tatum provided Entergy with an RAI (SPLB-A-1 0) regarding power ascension testing. As Mr. Tatum is not the original assigned reviewer for that area (was Mr. Pettis) I am not sure that Mr. Tatum has all of the background material provided by Entergy that is related to our response to his RAI (Response contained in Entergy letter BW 05-07 dated February 24, 2005). Below please find a description of the LAR supplements that provided the additional information on this subject area including response to previous RAls. Our February 24, 2005 submittal is based upon the reviewer having read and been involved with these prior submittals. If desirable to you or the Staff, Entergy would be willing to provide these particular documents in any format for the reviewer.

Attachment (Revision to Submittal Attachment 3) - This attachment provides a review of all original Vermont Yankee Startup Tests and for the EPU when each test will be performed and if not planned to be performed provides a justification for not requiring the test.
o Attachment (Revision to Submittal Attachment 7) - This attachment provides additional justification for not performing 'Large Transient Testing'.
Supplement 19 o - This attachment provides the original initial plant startup test sequence for Vermont Yankee.
o - This attachment provided historical information about the original plant startup test results and provided additional justification (beyond PC-263 Supplement 3) for not performing certain Power Ascension Tests (Steady State and Large Transient Tests)
