Beach Unit 1 restart Chris and Bill, I wanted to take a moment to summarize a number of conversations that have been held regarding head issues/allegations and to make sure we have a common understanding. Please, if I do not have it right let us know right away.
As you know Point Beach Unit I is planning to start up next week (Approx. June 2) if they receive from NRR the Order relaxation as they have requested. This is the last regulatory hurdle before restart.
(Verbal approval has already been given regarding the Relief Request for nozzle 26 repairs.)
We understand that NRR has concluded there is no oustanding safety issue and nothing precludes startup other than the Order relaxation documentation.
Thank you for all the support on these issues. Also, we greatly appreciate the smooth and expeditious transition of the allegation from Rill to NRR.
