On 9-10 -04 0330 Nozzle Dam crew requested that they needed to have the air supply increased to their air supplied hoods; RP technicians adjust flow until the nozzle crew was satisfied. Pressure on the manifold was found to be approximately 60 PSI. Procedure HPIP 4.58 requires pressure to be 20-28 PSI for a 50' length of hose. RP tech's where using one 50' hose and three 25' hoses the night that the nozzle dam where installed.

RP technicians where not aware of the procedure guidance for supplied hoods.

RP technicians where made aware of the procedure and to follow it's guidance.

Need to contact manufacture about clearer guidance for what pressure to use on our supplied air system. It appears that the manufacture recommends a pressure range of 30-45 PSI for our set-up. May need to update procedure if this is true.
