The stations current outage priority is to perform tasks that directly support returning the station to "Green" condition for "Core Cooling" and "Inventory.'
The station recently placed a hold on release of additional outage activities until such time as we have exited yellow conditions on Unit 1 and have an approved outage schedule. This hold was put into effect to ensure that outage planning resources could be devoted to outage schedule development and review activities.
While the general hold on the release of additional activities remains in effect, it would be prudent to continue releasing activities on a case-by-case basis. OCC will control the release of those activities using the "Process for Commencing Scheduled Outage Work Activities on Unit 1 and Common Systems (Revision 2 - 4/11/04)" checklist. This memo describes the process for work release methodology going forward. This memo does not affect previously released activities nor the Unit I R28 Turbine activity release process.
