- MEETING CATEGORY 1 - NRC ANNUAL ASSESSMENT - SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NOS.

50-327 AND 50-328

Dear Mr. Singer:

This letter confirms my telephone conversation with Mr. Paul Pace of your staff on March 21, 2005, concerning an Annual Assessment Meeting requested by us which is scheduled for April 12, 2005, at 4:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your Sequoyah facility. During the meeting, we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or any members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information contained in the Annual Assessment Letter and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance or to address any performance issues that occurred during the 2004 assessment period. The meeting will be held at the Sequoyah Nuclear Training Center Auditorium off of Igou Ferry Road in Soddy-Daisy, TN.

The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, 36920-36924).
