Dear Mr. Rueger:
In its letter dated January 31, 2005, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued the Amendment No. 179 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-80 and Amendment No. 181 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-82 for the Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, (DCPP) respectively. In those amendments, changes to the Technical Specifications (TSs) were issued in response to your application dated February 13, 2004 (DCL-04-013), as supplemented by letters dated November 5 and December 10, 2004 (DCL-04-153 and DCL-04-170, respectively).
In issuing the new pages to the TSs on January 31, 2005, we inadvertently did not include the changes on TS page 3.3-14 that were previously issued by NRC on December 2, 2004, for Amendments 178 and 180. Enclosed is a new page 3.3-14 for the TSs, which includes the changes for both Amendment Nos. 178 and 180, and Nos. 179 and 181.
