ANO2 INITIAL EXAM OUTLINE COMMENTS Admin Outlines
The first Conduct of Operations subject for the RO appears to be done in the simulator.
This could have an impact on the schedule. ANS: Yes, it will be done in the simulator and such actions will be captured in the scheduling so that the exam progress is not impacted.
The last entry on the SRO outline for the Emergency Plan is also done in the simulator
- is the plan to perform it after a scenario is complete? ANS: Yes.

Scenario Outlines
Scenarios 1 and 2 have additional component failures, but are considered to be a part of a single malfunction. Make these component failures separate malfunctions. This would expand the number of malfunctions to 6. ANS: Agreed, necessary changes will be made.
You are right at the minimum number of tasks for the RO position.
Make a task check-off list for each applicant. Agreed, additional checklists will be added.
The number of malfunctions on the ES-D-1's do not match the number shown on the ES-301-4. ANS: Agreed, changes will be made as necessary.
Written Outline
Be sure that the "pedigree" document for each question has the KA completed written out. ANS: They will comply.
Your "Suppressed K/As" document has many rejections for IR instrumentation. Aren't any of these applicable to your log-safety channels? ANS: No, they are different instruments.
General Outline
Have they verified that no task in the outlines were duplicated from the audit exam?
ANS: Yes, audit exam has not yet been developed and the same personnel will be writing the audit exam. Therefore they will insure that there is no duplication.
