SUBJECT:
FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) FINAL EXERCISE REPORT FOR THE JUNE 8, 2004, PLUME EXPOSURE PATHWAY EXERCISE FOR THE INDIAN POINT ENERGY CENTER
Dear Mr. Dacimo:
On November 19, 2004, the NRC received an electronic copy of the subject report from Mike Beeman, Chief of External Affairs, FEMA II. This Final Exercise Report for the June 8, 2004, exercise may be retrieved as ADAMS Accession No. ML050190165.
No Deficiencies were identified during this exercise. However, seven Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCAs) were identified during this exercise, and four were identified during out of sequence activities. Ten ARCAs identified during this exercise and 17 ARCAs from previous exercises have been resolved. One ARCA remains unresolved. Your continued assistance to offsite agencies is appreciated as they work towards resolving this remaining ARCA.
Copies of the Final Exercise Report are available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/ADAMS.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
