Dear Mr. Filip,
This letter is to request an extension for the Temporary Use of a Filter Truck for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, PWS 7670905. Permit No. 6705501 MA was initially granted by the PADEP on January 11, 2005. The extension is requested due to the fact that river turbidity was 2-3 ntu during most of the time the clarifier bed was trying to be established. An extension of this permit will allow for additional time to establish the clarifier bed while the filter truck is in service.
Peach Bottom is requesting an extension to March 31, 2005 in order to provide additional time for the clarifier to recover following maintenance.
