BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - RESPONSE TO ALLEGATION RII-2004-A-0144 This letter provides TVA's response to the letter from Stephen J. Cahill (NRC) to K. W. Singer (TVA) dated January 31, 2005, regarding the subject allegation. In that letter, TVA was requested to conduct inspections and/or investigations as appropriate to prove or disprove the concern and to inform the NRC within 30 days of the date of the letter of the resolution of this matter. TVA was also requested to make the records of any completed actions available for NRC inspection.
The enclosure to this letter contains the allegation along with the corresponding investigation results. TVA's investigation determined the allegation is substantiated in part.
