SUMMARY
OF THE FEBRUARY 16, 2005, MEETING BETWEEN THE NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION STAFF AND SACRAMENTO MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT REGARDING THE RANCHO SECO NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION LICENSE TERMINATION PLAN On February 16, 2005, a public meeting was held at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) offices between staff from the NRC, and Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) to discuss the dose modeling related to SMUDs License Termination Plan (LTP) for the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station.
SMUD discussed their planned methodology for dose modeling in support of the LTP. The licensee intends to use an industrial worker scenario. No significant issues with their methodology were identified during the discussions. The licensee currently plans on submitting the LTP in September of 2005.
The meeting attendance list and a copy of the slides used by the licensee for their presentation is attached. This meeting was noticed on January 25, 2005. No proprietary information was disseminated or presented at this meeting. No regulatory decisions were requested or made.
