Proposal submitted in response to the Commission's regulation requiring conversion of the OSTR from high enriched uranium (HEU) fuel to low enriched uranium (LEU)

OR EG ON STATE UNIVERSITY 100 Radiation Ccntcr Corvallis, Oregon 97331-5903 In accordance with the Commission's regulation contained in 10 CFR 50.64(c)(2)(ii), the Oregon State University Radiation Center has not been notified of any change in funding status. Therefore, Federal Government funding for conversion of the OSTR from BEU to LEU cannot be certified and therefore no further action towards conversion will be taken at this time.
