SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE January 2005 The unit began the month at 100% reactor power.
On 01/30/2005 at 0855 an abnormal operating procedure was entered due to decreasing condenser vacuum. Power was reduced by approximately 55 megawatts in support of trouble shooting. A leak was located in a turbine pedestal drain line. The drain line was plugged and vacuum was restored. Power wvas returned to the previous operating value on 01/31/2005 at 0030. The unit remained at 100% reactor power during the entire evolution.
The unit continued to operate at 100% power for the remainder of the month.
