Subject:

Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station Request to Amend Previous Approval Granted Pursuant to 10CFR20.2002 for Increase of the Annual Volume Limit and One-time Spreading of Current Inventory - Supplement No.1 This letter provides an update to information provided in Entergy's letter to NRC, dated October 4, 2004 (Reference a). In Reference (a), it was noted that an existing volume of soil piles was located between the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station cooling towers. Subsequent to that submittal, because of temporary traffic routing due to parking lot modifications and cooling tower upgrade work, the soil piles were relocated to a location on the north side of the site. The location of these soil piles has no impact on our spreading request, or its basis.

There are no new commitments being made in this supplement.
