STAFF SUPPORT FOR NRC RECRUITING EFFORTS
Dear Mr. Crane:
I would like to express my appreciation to you and your staff at the Production Training Facility for providing a demonstration on your Braidwood simulator and a short presentation in your maintenance training classrooms on November 22, 2004, to prospective NRC employees.
The NRC is dedicated to attracting highly motivated individuals for our entry level positions. In previous years, these potential hires would have participated in a plant tour and a discussion led by the NRC Senior Resident Inspector; however, because of the current National security environment, we did not want to bring these individuals to the site. Your staff provided an excellent introduction to the nuclear industry and their effort was greatly appreciated.
