Dear Mr. OBrien:
On behalf of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, I would like to thank the Vermont State Nuclear Advisory Panel for hosting the December 16th meeting to discuss the findings of two recent NRC inspections conducted at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant. As you know, these inspections were of great interest to the people of Vermont. Through the work of V-SNAP, we were able to have a constructive meeting to discuss our findings and the implications of those results.
I would also like to thank Bill Sherman, the Vermont State Nuclear Engineer, for all of his efforts in planning and coordinating this meeting. We appreciate his hard work.
