Response to Information Request Regarding NRC Significance Determination Process Risk-Informed Notebook Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter provides the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company's response to the information request transmitted via letter from the NRC dated August 19, 2004, "Transmittal of Revision I Significance Determination Process Risk-Informed Inspection Notebook and Information Request for Next Revision" (FENOC Log Number 6232) for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. I (DBNPS).
The response (Enclosure 1) is considered sensitive information and should be withheld from public disclosure. In addition, as discussed with the NRC Senior Project Manager for the DBNPS, due to the sensitive nature of the information, Enclosure I is being provided only to Michael Tschiltz, Chief, Probabilistic Safety Assessment Branch, via electronic media (compact disk) by overnight mail.
