Purpose:
This is an NRC-requested management meeting with PSEG, open to public observation, to discuss the results of the NRCs special inspection into the circumstances surrounding the steam leak that occurred on October 10, 2004.
The meeting will also include a discussion of the issues associated with the B reactor recirculation pump and the high pressure coolant injection pump exhaust piping. In the event that the NRC has not completed its review of these two technical issues at the time of the meeting, the NRC will conduct a subsequent management meeting with PSEG, that will be open to public observation, to discuss these issues prior to the startup of Hope Creek from its ongoing refueling outage.
