SURRY POWER STATION, UNIT 2 - WITHDRAWAL OF AN EMERGENCY AMENDMENT REQUEST ON A ONE-TIME EXTENSION OF THE ALLOWED OUTAGE TIME FOR TWO INOPERABLE AUXILIARY FEEDWATER PUMPS ON THE OPPOSITE UNIT (TAC NO. MC5177)
Dear Mr. Christian:
By letter dated November 30, 2004, you applied for an emergency amendment to the Surry Power Station, Unit 2 Renewed Operating License No. DPR-37. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications to permit a one-time 21-day allowed outage time to complete the repair of the Surry, Unit 1 motor-driven auxiliary feedwater pump.
Subsequently, by letter dated December 2, 2004, you withdrew the amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above-cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
