Docket No. 50-271-OLA

Dear Administrative Judges:

This is to inform you that, as of this morning, the public Citrix-based version of the ADAMS Publicly Available Records System (PARS) has been partially restored. The restored version of PARS includes the docketed material related to power reactors licensed under 10 C.F.R. Part 50. Specifically, documents contained in the docket for the facility that is the subject of the instant proceeding are now available through the Citrix-based version of PARS.

However, docketed documents regarding licenses issued under Parts 30, 40, 52, 70, 71, 72; records related to decommissioning reactors; and, non-docketed material remain inaccessible, pending completion of additional security reviews by agency experts. These reviews, when complete, are intended to ensure that documents which might provide assistance to terrorists will be permanently inaccessible from the NRC public Web site and PARS. Additionally, enclosed please find a press release issued today regarding the aforementioned action.

The Staff is moving to complete its review expeditiously so as to restore access to all other documents at the earliest possible time. We will keep you and the participants informed as this effort progresses.

Sincerely,

/RA/

Brooke D. Poole Counsel for NRC Staff
