This letter is being submitted to document a proposed revision to Figure 6.1 (enclosed) of the OSURR Technical Specifications. This change was reviewed and approved by the Reactor Operations Committee as required in Technical Specification 6.2.4(3) at its March 2, 2004 meeting. It simply incorporates the Assistant and Associate VP positions that exist in the chain of command between the Director of the Radiation Safety Section and the VP of Business and Finance. It does not lessen the independence of the Radiation Safety Section from the OSU Nuclear Reactor Laboratory and thus does not reduce the effectiveness of the Technical Specifications.
