Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR50.55a, enclosed is the Salem Generating Station - Unit 2 third ten-year Interval ISI Long Term Plan (Volumes A, B, and C). The Third Interval ISI Program is described in detail in Volume A (Inservice Inspection Program Summary). The associated ISI
,ablon - Destructive Examination (NDE) boundary diagrams are also included. Any relief requests will be submitted on an as needed basis.
In accordance with 10CFR50.55a(g)(4)(ii), the ISI program for Salem Generating Station
- Unit 2 was revised to comply with the requirements of the latest edition and addenda of the ASME Code incorporated by reference in 1 OCFR50.55a(b)(2) twelve months prior to start of the third ten-year interval. The latest edition of the ASME Code referenced by paragraph (b) of 10CFR50.55a at4hat time was the 1998 Edition through the 2000 Addenda except for Subsection IWE and IWL that will comply with the 1998 Edition through the 1998 Addenda.
PSEG Nuclear requests NRC approval of the Salem Generating Station - Unit 2 Third Ten-Year Interval ISI Program Plan by March 1, 2005, to support the Spring 2005 Refueling Outage (2R14).
