ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI - ROLLA SEPTEMBER 16, 2004, LETTER ON INITIAL EXAMINATION RESULTS

Dear Dr. Crow:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the effort displayed in the development of the additional assessment phase in your licensure training program. As you stated in your September 16, 2004 letter, implementation of this assessment phase will further allow you to evaluate the suitability of candidates to take the NRC operator examination. We will continue to monitor the progress of your program through both our normal inspection process and future initial license examinations.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the Commissions regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosures will available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at (the Public Electronic Reading Room) http://www.nrc.gov/NRC/ADAMS/index.html.
