The personal communication with Jeffrey Garner, State Malacologist, Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries, took place at regional Freshwater Mollusk Conservation Society Meeting held in Knoxville during first week of December 2001. The meeting was a three-day event.
