Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Units I and 2 - Supplemental Response to Requests for Additional Information related to I&M's Submittal of a revised Security Plan, dated April 29, 2004 By letter dated April 29, 2004, Indiana Michigan Power Company (I&M), the licensee for Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2, Facility Operating Licenses DPR-58 and DPR-74, submitted a revised Security Plan for review and approval by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to comply with NRC Order EA-03-086.
By letters dated Junel6, 2004, June 25, 2004, and July 23, 2004, the NRC made requests for additional information (RAI) on the revised Security Plan. By letters dated July 8, 2004, July 13, 2004, and August 12, 2004, I&M responded to these RAIs with commitments to provide supplemental responses by September 30, 2004, September 30, 2004, and August 31, 2004, respectively.
Attachments 1, 3, 4, and 5 to this letter provides I&M's supplemental response, which satisfies the commitments made in letters dated July 8, 2004, July 13, 2004, and August 12, 2004. Attachment 2 contains an aerial overview of the vehicle barrier system to enhance understanding of the security plan.
NOTE: ATTACHMENTS TO THIS LETTER CONTAIN "SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION" AND MUST BE PROTECTED ACCORDINGLY. UPON SEPARATION OF ATTACHMENTS, THIS LETTER IS "DECONTROLLED".
