CORRECTION LETTER - BYRON STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, AND BRAIDWOOD STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - AMENDMENTS, RE: PRESSURIZER SAFETY VALVE SETPOINTS, (TAC NOS. MB9762, MB9763, MB9760, AND MB9761)

Dear Mr. Crane:

By letter dated August 26, 2004, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Commission) issued Amendment No. 138 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-37 and Amendment No.

138 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-66 for the Byron Station, Units 1 and 2, respectively, and Amendment No. 131 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-72 and Amendment No. 131 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-77 for the Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2, respectively.

The amendments revised the band of the pressurizer safety valve tolerance specified in the technical specifications.

Subsequent to the issuance of the amendments, which had 30-day implementation dates, it was brought to our attention that the Exelon Generation Company LLC letter of March 3, 2004 (ML040650522), requested different amendment implementation. Enclosed are the corrected pages. Please replace the pages in your copy of the amendments with the enclosed pages.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience that may have been caused by not including the requested dates.

(2) Technical Specifications The Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A (NUREG-1113), as revised through Amendment No. 138 and the Environmental Protection Plan contained in Appendix B, both of which were attached to License No. NPF-37, dated February 14, 1985, are hereby incorporated into this license. The licensee shall operate the facility in accordance with the Technical Specifications and the Environmental Protection Plan.

3. This license amendment is effective as of the date of its issuance and shall be implemented upon startup of Byron Station, Unit 2, Cycle 13 in the Fall 2005.
