STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) submitted revisions to the South Texas Project Physical Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan in the referenced letter as required by Order EA-03-086. The NRC staff has requested additional information and clarification in order to complete its review.
The attachment to this letter includes responses to additional information requested via telephone conversations with the NRC on August 6, August 13, and August 18, 2004. It also contains proposed revisions to applicable sections of the Physical Security Plan and the Safeguards Contingency Plan submitted in the referenced letter. A discussion of 10 CFR 50.54(x) will be submitted later. STPNOC intends to resubmit the Plans in their entirety after all Requests for Additional Information (RAls) regarding the South Texas Project Physical Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan are resolved.
The attachment to this letter contains safeguards information and should be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
