IMPORTANT: Changes at Energy Information Center/Govemor Hunt House Beginning Monday, February 23, the Energy Information Center/Governor Hunt House will no longer have a full-time staff. Candy Sak, who has been at the EIC for the last 14-1/2 years has taken a position in chemistry and, within the next couple of weeks, Jan Bennett, Employee Communications, will be moving her office back down to the plant. Future use of the building is uncertain at this time but in the interim, space will continue to be available for meetings.

To schedule meeting space For the next couple of weeks, Jan Bennett (ext. 5412) will continue scheduling meeting space at the EIC/GHH.

After that, meetings will be scheduled electronically. A notice will be issued when that changeover occurs.

Access to the EIC/GHH Until such time that modifications are made to the building, any group meeting at the EICIGHH will have to obtain a key at Gate 1. In accordance with security requirements, each group must be responsible to see that the building is secure AT ALL TIMES. The key will have to be returned immediately to Gate 1 to be available for the next incoming group. Please respect the building, clean up after your meetings, and make sure no food is left behind.

Food deliveries Arrangements will have to be made to have someone from your group available to accept any deliveries of food or meeting materials. Vendors delivering food to the plant will have to be met at Gate 1.

Speakers' bureau With the closing of the EIC, Vermont Yankee is stepping up its speakers' bureau and is re-designing its external programs to make more presentations to schools and outside groups. Inquiries about speakers and school visits should be directed to Jan Bennett, ext. 5412.

Plant tours Plant tours are still available on a very limited, need-to-know basis. For information or scheduling of plant tours, contact Public Affairs' Larry Smith at ext. 4118.

M&Ms Candy's M&M jar will be relocated with her at the plant.
