- Rick, In the Brattleboro Reformer, Saturday, December 7, 2002, Eesha Williams (Reformer staff) reported that Jay Thayer told the selectboard that he will likely wait until 2004 or 2005 before applying for an extension to the plant's 40 year operating license, currently due to expire in 2012. She quoted Jay Thayer as telling the selectboard, "We will be applying for license renewal in two or three years, I would say."
I checked this out with Jay, and he concurred that he had said that.
